I never thought it would be this way
I never thought you would leave me here to today
I never thought you could just walk away
I never thought you could leave me here to stay

Time is love and love takes time
But your heart never thought of anything
Or anyone, not even mine

You left me here
All alone
When all I needed was for your love to be shown

Be near me when things went bad
Well, now its all gone
The love which we once had

You took only a few things of mine

Time to heal from the damage you caused
Now I seemt to be stuck
In the unloving jaws

The love that was once here is now dead
You took it along with you when you left

As they cover up the girl inside
She leaves all the hurt and pain behind

But now they cover up that girl,
And that girl, is me.
